readCrypto Chart Viewer ("the App") is a free cryptocurrency charting application developed by an individual developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
The App does not require account registration or login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. The App does not store your trading history, wallet addresses, or private keys, and never requests them.
To display charts, the App sends requests to third-party cryptocurrency exchange APIs (currently Binance, with OKX, Bitget, and Upbit planned) to fetch public price and candlestick data. These requests only include the trading pair and timeframe you select; they do not include any personal or account information, because the App does not have an account system.
The Android version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers, such as the Google Advertising ID, and other technical data (e.g. device type, general location derived from IP address, ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads. This collection is performed by Google, not by us directly. You can learn more about how Google collects and uses this data, and manage your ad personalization settings, at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Chart display settings (such as your selected exchange, trading pair, and timeframe) may be stored locally on your device to restore your last view when you reopen the App. This data is not transmitted to us and is not accessible to us.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
